Location, Location, Location!
We are the nearest, easiest to reach mountain course with the most outrageous views on earth! Why would you want to be sitting in the car when you could already be settling in at your mountain retreat, and saving gas to boot? We have heard many stories of families buying property in the distant mountains, and after a year or two, stop visiting because the drive is so long.
We have no traffic jams, are right beside Stone Mountain State Park, are surrounded by 27,000 acres of public land, and have easy access to Elkin (hospital, wineries, Super Wal-Mart, groceries, restaurants, cool downtown).
Price:
Lot prices range from $29,000 to $125,000. Sizes range from 1/2 acre to 3 acres. If you want to buy at the newer developments near Blowing Rock, press ahead. Those lots only cost from $500,000 to $1,500,000, and the reason for living there is the same reason for living here - pristine land, beautiful views, great location, and great golf. The only thing we don't have is the traffic!
Golf:
Don't let our low prices fool you, we have a surprisingly cool golf course. Our greens are world famous, and our new sand traps are getting rave reviews. Not too difficult, but not too easy, our course is fun for everyone, and quite a few non-golfers even come along for the ride to catch the views and witness the wonderful wildlife. We have made a commitment to continue to improve and upgrade the course.
Views:
Words can't even begin to describe the views and the sunsets. You'll have to come decide yourself, but schedule an evening up here to really appreciate what we have going for us.
People:
Easy going, considerate neighbors who look out for you and your house. We have a gate at the foot of the mountain, but I'm not sure we need one. And when that tranquil feeling settles in on you once you reach the mountain, it's hard not to be genteel and friendly!
