Stone Mountain Golf Club - North Carolina
Overlooking Stone Mountain State Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway 336-957-4422

Bruce says this is "Beard tongue".   Ralph says it's "Lili of the 2nd Hole".   Betsy says they are both nuts and it's Fox Glove.

What do you say?

We found this gorgeous Catawba Rhododendron near the top of Stone Mountain in the State Park.  The regular rhododendrons bloom in June, and the Catawbas are blooming now.

It's easy to see why Mountain Laurel time is a big deal.   Don't forget to keep your eyes on the road up the mountain! It's May and it's on! A great crop of flowers this year.

Looks like a "Thorn among Roses...

Dogwood growing on the rock on top of Stone Mountain. Locusts are blooming now, along with the wild irises.
