Enjoy true mountain golf surrounded by views of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Stone Mountain State Park, Doughton Park on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Thurmond Chatham Game Land. The 27,000 acres of public land that surrounds us guarantees some of the best viewscapes on the planet. The microclimate on our mountain is phenomenal - 10 degrees cooler in the summer with a lovely breeze, and believe it or not, 10 degrees warmer on many days in the winter. Cold air sinks off the mountain and settles in the valley below, and the air movement keeps the frosts down. That's why we stay open all winter! We have made so many improvements, it would be hard to list them all. You'll just have to come see for yourself. It's May up here and we're having the best flower year we've ever had. The dogwoods, wild magnolias, Princess trees, and locusts are now in bloom, and the mountain laurels are about to pop. Absolutely beautiful!
