If we are working on the course, there will be cart keys and score cards at the door. Until further notice, we will be playing #1 as a par three from the new tees.

It's May and we've been working hard this winter and spring to make this the greatest golf course with the greatest value on earth!
We've rebuilt the back of # 1 green, and the entire left side of # 8 green. We have finished rebuilding all the sand traps, and believe me, # 14 was a huge job. We've opened up the fairways on # 6, # 7, # 8, # 10, # 11, and # 18. The course is in fantastic shape, very lush and green, and as usual, our greens are perfect for sinking those long birdie putts. We've even opened up some views on # 2, # 3, and # 15 (as if we didn't already have the best views on earth!). So come see us. Other than the tired, old, ugly, fat man that greets you, we're absolutely outstanding! (Sometimes the fat man is out standing, but most of the time he's sitting.)
Bored with the standard cookie-cutter layout of most courses? What will you remember most about our golf course? The scenery, the greens, and the uniqueness of each one of our holes.
We continue to provide you with the best value golf on earth - a quality golf course with beautiful greens and incredibly low greens fees. Plus, we now have beautiful new 2008 golf carts, and are selling the older ones at great prices.
We again continue to see a remarkable increase in play from last year, so we must be (again) doing something right. However, we still enjoy speedy play conditions, with most people finishing their rounds in 3 1/2 hours, and many of those enjoying our $15 replay rate -- what a deal!
So come play the golf course with the prettiest view in the North Carolina mountains. Enjoy true mountain golf surrounded by views of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Stone Mountain State Park, Doughton Park on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Thurmond Chatham Game Land. The 27,000 acres of public land that surrounds us guarantees some of the best viewscapes on the planet.
The course is located off Highway 21 on the way to Roaring Gap/Sparta and is just 30 minutes west of I-77. We're only 1 mile from the back entrance to Stone Mountain State Park. Many say it's the prettiest park in the system, and it features great trout fishing, hiking and climbing! The park just expanded its campground to accommodate every type of camper.
While you're here, take a look at the best, most affordable golf course and mountain view lots on earth! You may want to move quickly though, the best kept secret will not be a secret for long. And your dream lot with the 360 degree view? It's waiting for you.

The fog sits in the valleys below us some days, with all the peaks above 2000 feet rising ghostly out of the white swirls. I continue to be amazed by the way it looks like the Pacific Northwest, with islands rising out of the sea.
